Monday Miniatures: Deadeye Slim
this week we shift gears to the old west. I really like this sculpt, though it would seem that not everyone else did; participation is always higher when fantasy figures are involved. Regardless, peak below if you want to see what people whipped up this week!
I didn’t find anything on Kickstarter worth sharing, but admittedly it was a very busy week.
I went with a very traditional color scheme. I actually really like how the leather duster came out – the picture does not do it justice.
Dirk choice is as different and contrasting as it could possibly be. He moved his gunslinger a couple thousand years into the future. Bravo sir! I love how the modifications are so smooth that it looks stock. This mini definitely has a man out of time, or maybe even Firefly vibe.
Update
Magnus sends in his best work yet. Seriously, great job. I love the cloth, especially the pants.
Kylie also sends in a mini. I think she win’s the most colorful this week. This was a mini that just didn’t seem to cry out for vibrant hues, but I do like how the red lining turned out.
Most recently, Christopher sends a lone ranger styled slim. I like it!
Familiars – Paint your favorite, or two or three – it’s up to you. Please send pictures to Caffeineforge@gmail.com by 2100 MDT on 7/20/14
Bat Swarm – I think this is one of the weakest minis in the entire bones collection. Let’s see what we can do to fix that.
Goblins – Week 1, WIP shots
Goblins – Week 2, Finishing the Horde
TBD – Thoughts? Anyone have a mini they are dieing to paint?
